PANE IN THE GLASS PRODUCTIONS

 LOVIN’ LIVE COUNTRY MUSIC

There’s a place to dance in Texas
Called the Pub at a place in the hills,
Where live bands play six nights a week,
Show off their musical skills.

The bands play all the pop country tunes,
And I dance in my chair to their beat.
I sing and play drums and pick my guitar
From the audience in my seat.

I wish I could be one of them,
And entertain like they can,
But my talent lies in switching the dials
On the radio in my van.

The music speaks to my mind and my heart
Of life and of love and of lust,
And as I look 'round I can see it take place
On the dance floor in the sawdust.

The regulars come out most nightly,
And are actually part of the show.
It’s a country western playground
Where wild bucks dance with their does.

Now they’re all a part of my family,
And I miss them when I’m not there.
'Cause we share something together,
The music, the dance and the beer.

So if you’re here for vacation,
And you want to go out for the night,
Check out the Pub before you move on,
You might even catch a good Texas fight.
